I hope y’all are having a great week so far. I am back in the swing of things with school. I’ve never had to literally plan out every hour of my day in my entire life, but right now, it is the only way I can function without falling behind. Even though I have to do this, I feel better when I see all the work I’ve accomplished for the day written down. I usually write down to-do lists, but I typically procrastinate and then the list becomes obsolete. I am only less than a week into this though, so I will let y’all know how it is going by mid-semester (maybe even sooner ha ha).
As I mentioned in my previous post, this week I will be posting some back to school fall outfits. Even though most college students do not like to dress up on campus, I prefer it. The way I dress usually reflects how I feel, so if I can do that and still be comfortable walking around, then I’m happy. My motto as of late is “do not sacrifice comfort for style/beauty.” I wish I could say that I always felt this way, but I would wear a lot of uncomfortable things my freshman year (I went the entire year without wearing a single T shirt… that’s changed too ha ha). Anyway, I used to be very adamant on not conforming… well this is still true. Okay, let me get on with this post now. I get off topic waaay too much. It is no secret that I love mauve, blush, or anything pink (including Millennial Pink), so I have been trying to purchase more colored tops (instead of my typical white). I found this top at ASOS and I fell in love with it. Even though it is a “maternity” top, I just ordered a size down. I love the ruffle detail on it even though it is more like a T shirt. It reminds me a lot of the Megan Tee from the Rachel Parcell Collection, except it isn’t overpriced. The cardi I am wearing is other new fave fall piece. I stumbled upon it by accident as well (like my mules and black jeans). I am actually starting to realize that when I go into stores not looking for something in particular, I find more of what I need ha ha. Anyway, this cardi is very comfy and I got it on sale for $20 at Nordstrom Rack. It isn’t on sale online, but you can always try your local NR. I won’t discuss my jeans, because I already expressed how much I love them in my last post. Lastly, these boots I’m wearing are such a perfect fall staple. I don’t always want to wear riding boots, but I love boots. These are cute, yet really comfy to wear around campus. They’ve never made my feet hurt except for one day when I wore the wrong pair of socks. So if you’ve been looking for a good pair of booties, I highly recommend these. The color that I am wearing seems to be sold out everywhere, but I listed the black and cognac versions below.
Thank you for reading,
Bisous bisous ♥
