Happy Friday Jr y’all! I’m so glad the weekend is almost here. I’ve have meetings all week at work, so I’m glad this week flew by. I don’t like getting into the habit of wishing for the weekend, because it feels like I’m wishing my life away, but this has been a long week. Yesterday I posted about how much I did NOT like NYC. In contrast, today I am talking about why LA is literally the best (Seattle is still my fave though).
I always used to say that if I never visited LA, I would be okay with it & it still so shocking to me that I love Southern Cali. I’ve been to San Fran & I really liked it there, but I didn’t expect to like LA more let alone like it more than NYC. But y’all LA is amazing. I’m not sure if everyone I interacted with that weekend was just in a super great mood or what, but everyone was so kind. Literally everywhere my friend Nicole & I went, we met cool people. We spoke to so many people and had many positive interactions. It was also great to interact with people from different countries, which isn’t the norm in Texas where my French knowledge is basically useless.
Other than the kind people, LA has so so much to do & see. The amount of things we had to choose from to do daily was almost overwhelming. There is just so much fun and FREE stuff to do other than eating there. The weather was also amazing (compared to the over one-hundred degree weather in Texas). We spent a lot of time outside, which was great (other than the pollution). Being able to go to the beach & hike in one trip was wonderful. I could go on and on about how much I love LA, but I’ll stop for now. As usual, I’m inserting pictures of what we did & where we ate.
